Rough Draft Information
Correct all spelling mistakes and missing or incorrect information on your outline before you begin your rough draft. If you handwrite your rough draft, it must be legible. If you type your rough draft on a computer or word processor for easier editing, you will still need to handwrite your final draft in cursive. Your rough draft grade includes points for content and completeness of sentences and paragraphs. Write a separate paragraph for the information from each section of the outline (Location, Physical Features, People, and Lifestyles etc.) Make sure each paragraph includes a topic sentence, supporting details and a closing sentence. Do not put topic titles over each paragraph. Make sure you write an introduction and a concluding paragraph.
*You must hand in your outline along with the rough draft. Do not throw the outline away!
